New Life Fellowship

Pastors Timothy and Cindy Hume joined the staff at New Life Fellowship on June 1, 1988.  Pastor Tim worked as an Associate Pastor of the church from 1978 – 1984 concentrating on Youth Ministry.  He attended Southeastern University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1974, and then attended the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and graduated with a Master of Arts degree in 1975.  He was ordained with the General Council of the Assemblies of God in 1976.  He is currently working on additional education.

Cindy Hume is a graduate of Oral Roberts University in 1978, and holds a Master’s Degree from Wright State University.  She has also earned her principle-ship from Wright State University.  Cindy became the first teacher in East Dayton Christian School in the Fall of 1978, and has served at a teacher, a supervisor, and as the school principal.  She is leading the growth of East Dayton Christian School as they move into High School.  She is currently working as a co-administrator of the school.  Cindy also plays a vital role in the church as she leads the music department of New Life Fellowship.  She is our Praise and Worship Leader in the services, and coordinates special music, etc.

Pastor Hume’s father, Rev. Keith L. Hume, began New Life Fellowship in downtown Dayton as the “Dayton Gospel Temple”.  We moved to our current location in 1973.  The church changed its name to “New Life Fellowship” a few years ago.
